Before The Cosby Show, The Jeffersons, Good Times, or even I Love Lucy, there was The Goldbergs. Yet most likely you have never heard of this show. From 1929 until 1955 The Goldbergs was one of the most popular shows on radio and television. At the center of the show was Gertrude Berg, or as most of the country knew her Molly Goldberg. Each week Molly would come into our homes dispensing advice with exasperation love and wisdom while nurturing her family.

From the award-winning producer and director of The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg and producer of Partisans of Vilna, comes a new documentary on America's favorite radio and television personality. Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg is a documentary on an American Jewish heroine who emerged during the most difficult years for American Jews.
The Answer Man | $15
Jul 15 @ 7:30 pm

Featuring Q&A with special guest writer-director John Hindman
From first-time director John Hindman, comes The Answer Man, a romantic comedy starring Jeff Daniels, Lauren Graham and Lou Taylor Pucci. Arlen Faber (Daniels) is the reclusive author of Me and God, a book that has redefined spirituality for an entire generation and has been translated into over 100 languages. On the eve of the 20th anniversary of his still wildly popular book, Arlen is still sought after as the man who has all the answers. Arlen's life collides with Elizabeth (Graham), a single mom raising her seven year-old son, and Kris (Taylor Pucci), a young man fresh out of rehab who is searching for meaning. Both Elizabeth and Kris are hopeful that Arlen has the answers, but the truth is, he hasn't got a clue. The film also stars Kat Dennings and Olivia Thirlby.
Gotta Dance | $15
Jul 22 @ 7:30 pm

Featuring Q&A with speical guest director Dori Berinstein and a couple of the Netsational Senior Dancers from the film
Who says you can't hip-hop if you're 80-years-old? Who says you can't shake things up and light up a jam-packed sports arena with your hot moves and cool attitude? Just because you're a card-carrying member of AARP, do you have to give up on your dreams? Absolutely not. Gotta Dance is Bad News Bears morphed into the flip side of Mad Hot Ballroom. Gotta Dance the movie chronicles the debut of the New Jersey Nets' first-ever senior hip-hop dance team, 12 women and 1 man - all dance team newbies, from auditions through to center court stardom. As smooth dance moves are perfected and performed in front of thousands, aging myths and misperceptions are pulverized. Despite swollen ankles, exhausting rehearsals, fashion clashes and seemingly impossible dance steps, the NETSational Seniors go for it, spreading joy, inspiration and cool dance moves as they hip-hop their way into the hearts of Nets fans and beyond.
Cold Souls | $15
Jul 29 @ 7:30 pm

Featuring Q&A with special guest writer-director Sophie Barthes
Is your soul weighing you down? Paul Giamatti has found a solution! In the surreal comedy Cold Souls, Paul Giamatti plays an actor named...Paul Giamatti. Stumbling upon an article in The New Yorker about a high-tech company that extracts, deep-freezes and stores people's souls, Paul very well might have found the key to happiness for which he's been searching. But, complications arise when he is the unfortunate victim of "soul-trafficking." Giamatti's journey takes him all the way to Russia in hopes of retrieving his stolen soul from an ambitious but talentless soap-opera actress. Balancing a tightrope between deadpan humor & pathos, and reality & fantasy, Cold Souls is a true soul searching comedy. Also starring David Strathairn, Dana Korzun and Emily Watson.
